Students: To qualify for one of the scholarships offered by Whitman & Hanson Dollars for Scholars, you must
   1. be a high school senior,
   2. live in Whitman or Hanson
(or attend WHRHS), and
   3. have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

The process of applying for scholarships begins with creating an account and then completing an online profile. The profile asks you to submit some personal information and supply information relating to criteria that make up the scholarship application.

We recommend that you start building your profile as early as possible, even before your senior year, and return to it whenever you have information to add or update.

Generally, our application period runs from the beginning of February through mid-March.

Here is a brief look at the application process.

The Student Guide provided more details about the process.

You may qualify for a scholarship offered through Scholarship America. Please note that the closing date for applications may be as early as late fall. This is the reason you should start your profile as early as you can.

Here are some additional resources and information.
